i finally gave these back to allen,
but i want them back, i didnt really watch them XD
But her grandmother sometimes gets her name confused with her sister's dog, Crystal, so she may also be Crystal, and then the dog is Ginger.
Its not rare, but it is usually hard for me to "strike it up" with somebody on an everyday basis. Today must have been quite unusual if you ask me.
She works at Denny's on the swing shift, i know this because she talked to me, let me tell you....
Jeff, Vince, Ed, Yoshi, and a lady friend of his Amy, (myself included) Decided to go out for a late night snack run, i mention maybe going to Denny's (Capitol and Berryessa) but Yoshi says that the one over on Mission Blvd. would be nicer, so i agree and we head out, (the first three) we get there way before Yoshi, he had to go get lady friend, and we meet in the lobby/waiting area.... well, at first Angelica, our "seater" seats us pretty early, then out of nowhere Ginger comes and just sits down, kind of next to me and begins to just talk to us, seconds later she tells us that she is our server, and begins to do the service thing. She is/was great, extremely casual, and fun to talk to. Open and the best part, she isn't afraid to hit Jeff.... sorry dude, but thats just choice! We gab back and forth, me, Jeff and her, and its going well, she warms up to both of us right away, but if you were counting points, Jeff seemed a little more ahead in the game. (Don't hate the Player, hate the Game) We continue talking, and Yoshi shows, we all begin an interesting game of, i want you give, and i'm happy, with Amy, it was... interesting... about ten minutes into the sitting Ed gets on his Cell and starts talking to, well i and everybody else, nobody, but it was DJ Amy... kinda funny, he kept on the cell the entire time we were sitting, he even handed the phone off to everybody else when he stopped to go the the restroom.. quite funny..... anyway.... so we are still hitting it off with Ginger, again, jeff seemingly more ahead than me. not a big deal, she's hot, but she's got her own preference. We all get our orders, and eat, it was great food, definitely going back for more than one reason. After a while, and many casual stops and quick conversations with her, she brings the check, it also makes it's rounds and we all pitch in, i just collect money and pay with plastic. I walk up to the counter and Angelica rings me up, Ginger comes over and thanks me for coming, and talks to me for a little while longer. I then ask her to pick a number from 1 to 25. She chooses 13, "Winchester Mystery House! Number 13!!!" is what she said after that, so i put down a 13 dollar tip... on a 30 dollar bill... its only money..... we then leave, well we gather in the seating/waiting area and i joke about how i bet i could get a number or something, totally not believing in myself, and we walk out... we get to the cars and just talk for a while, looking at Yoshi's Car, noticing a BRAND NEW RX-8 sitting in the parking lot (i ogled). after about three minutes i look at Yoshi and just kind of ask, "What do you think my chances are of getting digits?" He pushes me on and i walk back in, spotting Ginger over in a corner, and Angelica comes up to me, asking what was wrong. I look at her and say, "what would be my chances of getting her number?" she replies, "well she's taken, but if you want i can give her yours or something." I declined, and she comes over anyway, i mention something about Jeff leaving an additional 10 bucks on the table, i wanted to know if she got it. She goes over to check, and its not on the table, the entire time she is thinking that i wanted the money back... again... its only money. she cant find it on the table, so she looks arround, asks the bus boy, he says he didn't find it, turns out that he "threw it away" and she gets it back, she walks over to me and tries to hand it back, i just look at her funny and say, "its your tip, i dont want it, we gave it to you." she, "Really?! you're sure about this?!?!?" me, "What am i going to do with it, you keep it." at that i turn and go..... she follows me out. "Are you alright?!" "Yeah, i'm fine, i've just been up since Five this morning...." she and i then talk about work some more, i mention my shifts, and how i am scheduled, and she then talks about her scheduling, and then after a bit more random talk, she mentions that she has to go back in, and she does... i walk back to the guys (and one girl) and they all ask me what happened, i said nothing, and leave it at that, just then Angelica comes out and asks us where Ginger is, i tell her she went back inside, and Angelica says she didn't see her. She was there... we stayed a little longer and talked, i showed Yoshi my stereo, and then we all parted ways. Thats about it, i just can't forget her, i'm definitely going back, like i said, and not just for the good food!
Now if only she remembers me, but i think she will....
so a while ago, i may have told you, well some of you anyway.... that i broke... well i didnt actually break, but my head unit in my car went dead... turns out, its not broked... in a fit of frustration while driving with the stereo hooked up i decided to kick the car.... well... that made it work... turns out that the wiring harness right at my feet in the car is all buggered... kinda sad, but atleast its not a broken head unit! its mostly fixed... just kinda cuts in and out if it gets loose.... i'll have to have it serviced.... other than that.... uh... i went for my first mudding experience, it was quite fun... it was me and veronica first, just over at the spot by jeff's house... then the day after that... tuesday i think i went again, but it was more daylight, and people were out and they kinda got not happy with me, one lady bout got hit by me, cause i didnt see her and she leapt out at my car... not that i stopped, nor do i care now... i just think its funny that a lady would endanger herself like that.... i mean, i have knives in my car (carry them in there for work) not that she knows that, but what if i were really angry with her cause she shouted at me? dont you think its stupid to confront somebody willing to break a couple civil laws in the middle of the day?! would you willingly stop a bank robber if they only gave you a note saying they had a gun or other weapon? would you stop a shoplifter if you saw them put a knife or other sort of weapon in their jacket or pocket? i dont know that i would... unless i was similarly armed or something.... pepper spray is nice on burritos, but yeah..... uh.... that got quite ranty didnt it? i got my server box back up and running, now i just have to clone a copy of mac os x.3 onto it so it will run faster and stuffers....i'm installing it on my dad's server as we speak... it does take a while... but hey, its good stuff.... i'm going to go now.... later all... oh yeah.... try hitting option-semi colon when you get a chance, that is if you are a mac based user.... it makes dots ……………… like that.... ………… i dont have to type this "..." i can just do this "…" and it does it for me.... yayism...
